Funded by
”Support for Key Populations Most at Risk of HIV: 2019-2021" focuses on HIV Prevention, Detection, and Care, as well as Linkage and Follow-up for individuals who test (+) during rapid HIV testing operations conducted with key populations in the provinces of Barahona, Puerto Plata, Santiago, La Romana, San Pedro de Macorís, San Cristóbal, and Santo Domingo.
The key populations that we as an institution must work with directly are: Migrant men in the labor sector (HM-TC) and Migrant women sex workers (MH-TRSX).
To ensure that each person identified and registered receives the full service and is accounted for as a beneficiary by the National HIV Response, they must meet certain requirements and have completed the processes carried out by community HIV task forces.
Each beneficiary must be reached through 4 strategies, which are:
Community Invitations or HIV Prevention Forums.
Even Multipliers.
Rapid Testing and Post-counseling Operations.

Achievements
69,722 migrant individuals (55,378 men and 9,227 women) were reached through key prevention messages, condom distribution, HIV testing, and educational brochures (Spanish and Creole) on condom use, prevention of STIs and HIV/AIDS.
By 2030, end epidemics of AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria and neglected tropical diseases and combat hepatitis, water-borne diseases and other communicable diseases.
