Implement innovative technologies using clean energy to reduce electrification gaps in isolated rural communities of Elías Piña Province through a participatory model.
Strengthening climate resilience and fostering alternative livelihoods through the sustainable use of ecosystem services in the project intervention areas.

The Government of the Dominican Republic, through non-profit associations (NPAs), the Ministry of Energy and Mines, and the Ministry of Economy, Planning and Development.

1.1. Identify beneficiaries and define electrification systems to be implemented in a participatory manner within the target communities.
1.2. Socialize and validate the Electrification designs in the intervention communities of Elías Piña.
1.3. Strengthened organizational capacities of community-based NGOs in Elías Piña for the proper use of systems.
2.1. Implement pilot renewable energy infrastructure projects with community participation.
