Project Objective

To provide comprehensive care to 2,208 children aged 0 to 5 and their families through the Family and Child Care Centers (CAFI), by implementing strategies to change parenting styles.

These strategies are:
1. Support for households.
2. Training workshops for families.
3. Early stimulation.
4. Early childhood education.
5. Inter-institutional coordination.
6. Godparents.

As a co-manager, IDDI implements 4 strategies in the municipality of Los Alcarrizos, specifically in the neighborhoods of La Piña, La Paz, and Villa Balaguer, and implements the program's 6 strategies in the provinces of Puerto Plata, San Pedro de Macoris, and Paraíso in Barahona.
