The project contributes to reducing the significant deficiencies and difficulties in educational support for children in basic education. To this end, it proposes the implementation of a non-formal education space (Espacio para Crecer, EpC), with a capacity for 60 children, which also includes raising awareness among family members regarding the importance of education, children's rights, and related topics. The EpC Program is an initiative to promote the personal growth and integral development of children and adolescents in the Dominican Republic.

It is systematically developed into a school support program where the child participates in activities that allow for their healthy development. This program includes:

  • Academic activities (homework completion, school remediation, academic enrichment, etc.).
  • Recreational and playful activities (games, outings, body expression, art, drama, sports).
  • Personal Growth Activities (Personal Development Workshops).
  • I work with families (discussions on the importance of education, dangers of child labor exploitation, child protection law 136-03, children's rights, among others).
