The quality of life in the Haiti-Dominican Republic border region is improved with biofuels and jatropha curcas oil, replacing firewood for lighting and cooking, through processing centers and artisan factories.

The project supports four women's federations with technical assistance, capacity building, financial management, and market access, promoting a more democratic and participatory society.

The IDDI improves access to safe drinking water and sanitation in low-income communities in the Dominican Republic and Haiti by building aqueducts and training residents.

PROCCE is developing 15 cooperatives in Santo Domingo Este and North to manage electrical service under contract with EDE ESTE, employing 375 local residents trained technically and administratively.
