Microcredits
What is the program about?
The Microcredit Center supports the development of micro and small entrepreneurs in the Dominican Republic by offering training services targeted to their needs, credit and technical assistance, as well as promoting the development of new business initiatives through vocational technical training. It is our mission to promote the development of income-generating activities as a way to improve the living conditions of Dominicans. These actions are aimed at those Dominicans who do not have access to formal banking.

They reach the poorest provinces and neighborhoods of the Dominican Republic. The work system is created according to the needs of our family, that is, our clients. 70% of the portfolios are occupied by women and young people of our country and 30% by microenterprises.
The Center has been in operation since 1992 and to date has benefited more than 18,000 microentrepreneurs in the cities of Santo Domingo, Haina, San Cristobal, Guerra, Barahona, Puerto Plata and Cotui.
IDDI is working hard to contribute to the transformation of human beings, their families and the community in which we live.
In the face of a common problem, we are all the solution.
